Jenis kain knit

Knit fabrics, or knits, are a type of fabric created by looping yarns together. This process then forms a stretchy and flexible cloth that is pleasant to wear. Knit fabrics tend to be a commonly used fabric within many different kinds of clothing. There is a wide variety of knit fabrics, with each type offering its own unique characteristics and applications. So in this article we will study the various knit fabrics and their characteristics and usage in garments.

Different Types and Uses

Knit fabrics can be classified in two broad categories: weft knits and warp knits. The most common Xinchunlan knit cloth you will come across is a weft knit. These are created by carrying the yarns horizontally across the fabric. This way of knitting creates stretchy and flexible fabric, which is good for clothing like t-shirts, sweaters, and dresses. Weft knits have great stretchiness, which make them very comfy to wear, and easy to move in. Warp knits, however, are made by knitting the yarns from the top of the fabric to the bottom. Weft knits are not as stretchy as these types of fabrics This is why they are frequently use in tighter and more structured garments such as lingerie and active wear. Warp knits retain their shape and support in necessary areas.
